Reasons

We choose this movie, because the story of this movie contains many moral values about tolerance and accepting each other. For example, the marriage between with a vampire and human. Although, it is not scary movie, but this movie is comedy animation. This movie also has a simple groove in delivering jokes. Color images are very clear in this movie. Thus, it makes us to audience doesn’t feel bored. This movie is interesting to watch for children. We choose this movie too, because this movie is the best movie in 2015 years.

Setting

The movie of hotel Transylvania 2 is directed by Gendy Tartartakovsky and is produced by Michelle Marocco. There are many main characters in this movie such as Dracula father who is voiced by Adam Sandler. His character is stubborn and also very fond of his daughter, Mavis who voiced by Selena Gomez. Mavis in this movie has a character is like his father. Mavis has a husband named Jonathan, voiced by Andy Samberg, compassionate and wise character. There is Frankenstein, Wayne, Griffin, Murray, Eunice, Wanda, Grandma Linda, Granopa Mike, Dana, Bela, Vlad, Blobby, Kakie, Winnie. The supporting characters are Vampir Kid, Phantom Of The Opera, Marty, Ticket Agent, Shrunken Heads, Tourist Driver, Jogger 1, Jogger 2, Pandragora, Kelsey, Fly, Kal, Troy, Yoga Monster Kid, and Candle Cake Monster . The movie has setting place is in hotel Transylvania, home Jonathan in New York and in outside hotel Transylvania. The time setting is in modern era.  Moral message in this movie  is about the difference of  each other and do not impose one's will, because somebody will turn himself in time.

orientation

The movie tells the Mavis with Jonathan wedding, which is held in hotel Transylvania. When their marriage has been a year, Mavis is pregnant and she tells her father to take her to fly. In her pregnancy, Mavis wants her son to become a human like her husband. While, Mavis will give birth her son. Father disguised as a nun, because he wants to see his grandson.

When Dennis is two years old, his grandfather wakes Dennis and wants to teach  his grandson to be a vampire. However, Mavis comes and tells Dennis to sleep. However, Dennis wants to watch his favorite monsters movie. But Mavis’s father forbids his grandson for watching a movie which is not about scary monsters, his mother are angry and invite Dennis to sleep. When they celebrate the brithday of Dennis, Mavis confusses to her father that she doesn’t support his father.

Complication

When Wayne makes birthday party, Dennis falls and dislodges his teeth. Then, his grandfather is very pleased that Dennis‘s canines will appear. But Mavis gets angry with Drac, she says that it is not the canine teeth and say that Dennis is not a monster. Mavis tells to Drac that the kind place like hotel Transylvania is not suitable for Dennis. She wants  Dennis to stay in California, where the residence of Jonathan.

Drac talks to Jonathan that Mavis does not allows him to bring Dennis. Finally, Mavis also entrust Dennis to Drac. After Mavis goes, Drac invites his friends. They go to the forest to teach Dennis become a Dracula. Drac tells Dennis to fly from very high tower. There are people who record the incident. By the time, Dennis nearly falls, Drac immediately catchs him. Jonathan’s friends sends Dennis’s video who was flying to her. Mavis immediately flies to the hotel because she concerns about Dennis’s safety in Transylvania.

On her arrival, she is in her house, Drac comes in and Mavis immediately scolds Drac, and she said that after Dennis’s birthday of five years, they will move to California. Vlad comes with his friend named Bella, but his friend dislike human and Vlad is disappointed because Drac had  married  Mavis. In the fact that Mavis married with human. In birthday party, Denis is sad because he can not be Dracula. Dennis goes to the woods, and he is followed by Winnie. Bela knows that Dennis goes into the woods and he wants to kill him.

Resolution

When Drac realizes that Dennis is not in the hotel, all the monsters and humans frantically search for Dennis. Mavis says sorry that she invites his grandfather. Bela holds Dennis and Winnie, Winnie explains to them that people should not live with a monster. Winnie bites Dennis’s hand then he does martial arts and Winnie is tossed to the ground.

Dennis is very angry, thus he removes in his fangs, and he turns into a small bat. Bela immediately calls all his friends, and the defense seeks to counter Dennis. Vlad and Mavis are pleased to see Dennis can turn into a bat, after Bela is defeated by Dennis, Dennis hears that Bela’s friends will come. Dennis against them, and he is helped by all the monsters and the people in the hotel Transylvania.

However, after his friends defend undefeated. Bela jumps back and wants to kill Jonathan, but Vlad use his body to defense. Because Dennis already becomes Dracula, Mavis cancels to move in California. Everyone is very happy and celebrates the birthday of Dennis with dancing together.
